Who are heavy-duty chairs suitable for?
Normal office chairs are unsuitable for particularly tall people or those with an above-average weight. What are heavy-duty chairs?
Hardly any other piece of furniture is used as intensively as the office chair. Office chairs carry their users through their working day for up to eight hours a day and more. Heavy-duty chairs also belong to the office chair category. However, they are additionally reinforced at key points and are built with particularly robust materials. For example, the seat of our Svenstol XXL has an integrated steel plate. The mechanism also adapts to the increased loads thanks to a special gas spring and a reduced tilt angle. A steel frame and a 6-arm star base are further elements that, together with the wear-resistant materials, give the Svenstol its unique stability. The chair also offers enormous flexibility. Even very tall people need to be able to adjust the seat depth, seat height, armrests, mechanism and headrest as easily as possible. This is the only way to sit ergonomically.
